This week I made Snickerdoodle Smoothies!
Snickerdoodles have been the number one cookie in my house for a longggggg time. My mom has loved them her entire life. When she introduced me to them as a small child, I fell in love with them too. And of course, my dad had to follow along with the snickerdoodle trend (but he likes them too). There is no cookie in the world better than a warm snickerdoodle. It is the best!!! The cool thing about these Snickerdoodle Smoothies is that they contain banana (but no actual snickerdoodles!) I never would have thought of putting banana in, but it helped make the perfect taste!
This recipe comes from a new cookbook by my Mom’s friend Deborah Harroun: Best 100 Smoothies for Kids. This cookbook has the best smoothies around. I personally love them for breakfast and after-school snacks. What is better than a healthy, tasty smoothie?
The Snickerdoodle Smoothies not only taste good, but look good too! Just like classic snickerdoodles! If you really want to be festive, go ahead and sprinkle some cinnamon on top.
So if you’re craving snickerdoodles, but you’re trying to stay fit for summer- these smoothies are the next best thing. They taste sweet and yummy- just like snickerdoodles!
And even a kid can turn a cookie into a smoothie… Like Me!
