apple pie filling

ground cinnamon

caramel syrup

15.25-ounce box
cake mix
(spice cake, vanilla cake or yellow cake)

cup
chopped walnuts or pecans

cup (2 sticks)
salted butter,
melted
vanilla ice cream,
for serving (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350℉. Spray a 9x13-inch pan with nonstick spray.
Add the two cans of apple pie filling to the pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon on top, and stir to combine. Drizzle the caramel syrup on top of the apples.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly on top of the apple filling.
Drizzle the melted butter evenly on top.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes, until golden brown on top. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
